About the event
"This workshop is geared to non-profit staff and volunteers who have little or no experience in writing and submitting grant requests," said THS Managing Director Diane O'Connor. "Non-profit organizations are increasingly aware of the value of grant funding. However, that funding requires a specific set of skills and abilities in order to achieve success. We are going to learn the intricacies and overcome hesitations about grant writing." O'Connor will be the workshop facilitator, calling on more than 25 years of non-profit management experience and a track record of grant writing for a variety of organizations.
The workshop will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude at 3 p.m. The workshop cost of $25 includes lunch and refreshments, and the day will conclude with a panel discussion comprised of experienced grant writers as well as individuals who sit on grant review panels.
Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. Registration and additional information may be obtained by calling 518-558-1647 or via e-mail to: tihistory@bridgepoint1.com.
